We've done extremely well lately- five wins on the trot! I think we should aim to ride that wave of good form- keep everything the same tactically but go with more attacking personnel.

Hugo
Dier-Toby-Jan
Kyle-Victor-Dele-Danny
Eriksen-Son
Kane

-Dele at CM to get a more attacking look. He can still get forward for plenty of scoring opportunities!
-I didn't think Dier looked all that great in midfield last game- not bad, but less sharp than I had hoped. Maybe I'm being harsh and he was just tired but I'm more eager to see him continue at RB for now. His pressing and attacking runs forward from RB have been excellent imo.
-Sissoko for me as well was not that great until his assist so I don't think he quite makes the cut above others. Son scores goals and has been excellent as an outside attacker for us and should get the starts for now.
-Dembele for me at the moment is a defensive specialist against big attacking clubs and a rotation CM for everyone else. His ball winning game is top-notch but his ability to attack a packed defense is not that great and we should opt for players like Son that operate better in that scenario.
-our bench looks very solid right now!: vorm, wimmer, davies, trippier, dembele, sissoko, gkn, and janssen- pretty much all of them deserve more game time. it's a good problem for poch and us to have, but i do feel for them a bit! someone is going to have hurt feelings before the season is over.

If we come out with the right focus and attitude, we should be able to take this one 3-1.
If we give up dumb fouls on the edge of the box and lose concentration in set pieces, we could find ourselves fighting uphill against a 1-0 pulis siege job. Definitely will want to start out cautious and conservative and take the first goal.
I feel Son needs space to run, WBA will not give up space and sit deep.. it will be a battle so Dembele has to play for me with Alli further forward. You are right , form is on our side and this will see us through. I feel so confidant on this result its strange. WBA came unstuck against Chelsea, defending for 90 mins so the players will have sone doudt to Pulis ways?

Agree with this Dembele needs to start this one, we need to dominate in midfield.

Son is actually very good when it comes to running at defenders in the box. He draws fouls/pens/free-kicks pretty consistently. Part of the gameplan against a side playing Pulis-ball should be to try and draw early yellows on their backs to set them up for a second-half send-off! Son is ideal in this scenario, as is our twinkle-toed Dele ; )

WBA team talk....

Pulis, right lads, none of you are capable of playing football so listen.Everyone behind the ball, kick lumps out of them and win free kicks. Lets spoil the game.
Players, but boss, our supporters are craving football, a team with spirt going forward, taking on the opposition.
Pulis, I know best, same as against Chelsea.
Player, but we lost 1 nil.
Pulis, its not about you, its about me. Im an angry little fuck and want to spoil everyones fun.
Players, we want to play football.
Pulis, dont you swear at me, your dropped. Go and train with Berahino.
and so on....

I dont think it will be difficult to draw fouls. Dembele will drive into em, pulling em out of position. Sissoko may feature for this very reson (like Son) he can cause problems but running at them rather than off them and behind. They will sit deep.

We now have an A & B game and should mix it about. 'A' game this time as I think the 2 FB's will be as effective as part of a 4 as being Wing backs. That allows us to play 1 more attack minded player. As Dier captained the team Sunday I would rest him and play Sissoko who will try & run through them. That would be only change from Chelsea. He has not made 90 mins yet and Son can replace him on the hour mark. However hopefully we will go for the throat early on and settle it early as the longer it stays 0-0 then it will get harder. GNK should also get another sub appearance if possible.
We owe this lot for the draw last April and need to win.

I dunno why but I feel a bit more nervous about this game then I did about the chavs! Still the spurs go marching on and tony pullis and his non football West Brom are in our way, so prepare to get pushed aside, I don't care if this is scrappy, it's vital we start on all cylinders and get the earLy goal! Chance to go 2nd if we win this!

Just had a look at our results with WBA, and we haven't beaten them at home since Jan 2012? I'm expecting a tough game here.
We are a team on form, scoring goals and everyone is fit and rested. There is no reason why we can not win this. Last season , the pressue was building. WBA was the first game of the down turn. This season, no preasur, so lets see what they are really made off. They will expect and play for a draw, so a point is guaranteed. The presure is on them as they are on form themselves, for a change. They wont fancy this...
