I'm more interested in why Pochettino changed his stance.
We don't know this yet, do we?

What we do know is every player that has gone out on loan since he has been at the club hasn't made it into the first team. The only player that came close was Pritchard, he got named in the first team squad. Every single player that was rated (CCV, Winks, Onomah, KWP, Edwards) is in the squad.

Those that have been loaned were never in contention. The only caveats to them are Walkes and Harrison. Neither were tipped in the same way as the likes of Winks & CCV etc. but they were named in the first team squad, and name checked by Poch himself. This was in the main a surprise, not expected. May be this was done to boost their value?? Worth a bit more if they have played or been in first team match day selection squad??

Only time will tell if any of those out on loan will play for us in the future, there are only so many spaces available in the squad, may be the focus is keeping the first team squad together and then developing players further down in U18's. There is a small handful of players beginning to shine.

I thought he rated Harrison highly?

That one surprised me a little bit I must admit.

Amos and Walkes are not going to make it here by all accounts. I've seen them both quite a few times and neither really ever impress. Amos was decent when he played in central midfield for our u-18's a few years back but a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Walker-Peters, Onomah, Winks, Carter-Vickers and of course Edwards. Those are the ones I'd be looking at. Then there's the age group below them which is very, very interesting. Oakley-Boothe, Skipp, Eyoma, Tanganga etc.

I like Shashoua aswell but he's really hard to judge in terms of potential IMO.

I'm only saying this because Spurs Academy tweeted weeks ago that Poch changed his mind on the loan stance and willing to give players loan moves.

I thought he was informed
