One of those games where you think all the stars will align, the Lane will be rocking under the lights and Spurs battle to a memorable win which kick starts an unbeaten run to April.

Then someone falls over their bootlace and does a diving header along the floor straight to Salah, who is karate kicked in the face by Gaz, and it’s red card, penalty, 1-0 Liverpool and there’s not even 4 minutes in the clock.

At least José was making plenty of sense in his post-match interviews today. He won't stand for this nonsense of only having one senior striker, for example. But the Ndombélé situation is the biggest kick in the **** we've been handed all season.

Sad, but most likely true. :/

We’ll have had a week to work on the game plan- no-one knows what the Jose Spurs ‘really’ looks like, plus with no Kane we’ll have to be a bit more imaginative.

At least Jose is capable of setting up to counter the opposition - I think the result will depend on which team takes their (probably less than many are expecting) chances.

Remember, on our day, we can beat anyone - and we owe them for their part in that mind-numbing 90minutes in the CL final.
