Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I haven't been able to go to the Lane for the last couple of years for various reasons and was wondering which pubs have disappeared in this time. I've heard that the Corner Pin is no more and obviously The Cockerel / Bank went a few years back. I mostly used to drink in Bootlaces, British Queen, sometimes the Olive Branch and obviously the Bell and Hare so am mostly wondering about these (obviously I know the B & H is still going just wondered about the others). Have there been many others that have gone under in the last few years?

These are all the pubs gone, not sure on the time line:

(nicked from another forum)

The bull - Now flats.
The Swan
The White Hart (Tottenham hale)
The Robert E Lee
The Eagle (was then Eltons)
The Flower Pot
The Prince of Wales
Beehive
The Plough
THE TORY CLUB
The Pleasure rooms -Those strippers
The Red Lion
Sams etc
The Corner Pin
The Antwerp Arms - fire boomb'd Nov 2011.......
The Milford Tavern (Pride of the lane?)
The Park Tavern
British Queen - Back open i think?
The Railway Tavern
The Compasses (past the irish center apparently)
The Cockeral bar was - The Whitehall tavern
The Bank
Bootlaces was .........THE CHEQUERS - Now a f***ing Chicken shop
Pub that is now Paddy power - The Three Crowns.
The Old Globe - Now a bloody massive Chinese.
The Golden fleece
The Spurs - The Roundway
White Hart - Devonshire Hill Lane
The Fox - West Green Road
Dagmar Arms - off Phillip Lane
Poachers - Lordship Lane
The Rising Sun - Now flats.

Bloody hell, that's a pretty comprehensive list, cheers mate. Gutted about Bootlaces, used to drink in there with my old man before pretty much every game. Shame about the Bricklayers as well used to be a cracking atmosphere in there. That's a ridiculous amount of pubs to have closed in a few years, sad times.

I think they're all pubs that have been shut at some point, some may have re opened, like the phoenix/british queen.

You could also add the rising sun, bit out the way but we used to drink there.

When did the Bricklayers close? I have been in the B+H last few visits but Bricklayers was open earlier in the season

The Bricklayers is well and truly open and the best pub near the ground. The Bell and Hare is handy for the Park Lane and Shelf, but is just a room. The Bricklayers is always bouncing pre-match, thanks to Glenn and Maximus and the atmosphere in there is always better than in the ground, unfortunately.

There's another one next to the Bricklayers now called Alabar. It's a club by night and is taken over by the old Bootlaces boys on match day. Bottles rather than pints and no singing. A mate of mine used to be a nawty boy and meets up with his old cohorts in there while I have a sing-song with my mates next door.

Yeah, Bricklayers is open.

We used to go to Bootlaces, and now go in Alabar sometimes, they do sell pints but the best thing to do in there is get 4 pint jugs.

Fair do's. Duff information. Four pint jugs in Bricks too.

Jugs are loverly. Ooh matron.

Don't understand how pubs (that are owned by the landlord) can't make money in Tottenham - just open on match days and to televise big away games........everyone is happy to pay £3+ a pint.......

Yes, that's probably the saddest of all. Just recently too and nothing to do with the riots.
