But well done John, you noticed that fiscal prudence and sustainable growth is a cornerstone of what the chairman and MD are using to run the club by.
Would you like them to ruin the club financially in the hope that a Russian multi billionaire buys them out?
No. I dont want to see the club ruined financially, but I'd rather see more money invested in keeping players like Toby at the club than a posh cheese room in the new stadium...
And If I can ever afford to take my Grandchildren to NWHL I'd rather them be excited by watching world class footballers than climbing a wall or taking some sky-walk..
Nothing wrong with a bit of fiscal prudence, but we take it to a whole new level.
Whatever happened to To Dare Is To Do, eh Mick.

Sammy, you mentioned complacency creeping in among some players, and I make you right, But I'd go further. I think it goes from top to bottom (in obviously different ways), from executive management and Pochetinno and the training staff and down to us fans.

I'm sure if you looked back at the threads from earlier in the year there'd be plenty that would make you cringe with embarassment at the levels of delusion and arrogance.

Pre-season vote over 40% said we wouldn’t win the league.
Although more voted for 4th than second. So a few here knew their onions.

I basically thought 4th was realistic due to Wembley factor and dodgy away form. But I still came up with some punditry insight gold.

Basically if our home form was the best AND our away form was the best we could win the league.

Yes I’m a genius.

And you wonder why I get on your back.
Why did you have to put a personal insult into the post?
Are you a qualified doctor specialising in that area? How many of those doctors make an analysis based on on line posts, I would guess absolutely none of them.
Your arrogance is palpable, the minute your posts are questioned you don't substantiate or support them, you simply resort to personally insulting the poster.

What does that make you, as a poster Sammy?

Weak and ineffectual, would be my guess.

Or shall I copy your example and go full on tourettes and wish your early demise?

"I'm being serious"

I remember last time there was a campaign to paint me as something, like there was with Gibbs.....didnt go too well though. Despite your neat little yellow card campaigns, everyone can see what your'e doing.

If you carry on trying to get rid of him like that and ruining the Spurs forum, I'm more likely to get rid of those trying to chase him off here.

In Off Topic you can pretty much post what you like (to a degree). These threads are kinda funny. If this Gibbs vs whoever continues in the Spurs forum though I'll just get rid of you all.

Obviously I don't want to do that but it ruins that forum for everyone else who just want to chat about Spurs and makes the place looks shite for anyone new who wants to join.

Bingo. No matter what you try and do, you'll always get problems. Banning people isn't an issue-free solution. Then you open up a whole discussion of "well X was banned and Y just did this. Why aren't they banned?". It's a slippery slope and not one we have time for anyway... but that's just my opinion.

I think you're expecting a bit much of a forum. People argue on the the internet. Sammy & Gibbs both post a lot about Spurs and they argue a bit as well. Do they deserve to be permanently banned for that? Even if they posted 70% Spurs and 30% shite, I still don't think that's worthy of banning for good.

We will never win the league under our structure. Its impossible, are buiness model does not factor that into it's strategy. We play for revenue never risk.
Those who thought we would win this season were more deluded than an Arse Woolwich sycophantic.

what yellow card campaign?
I have no influence over other posters, they can do as they wish.

My comments are my opinions articulated to you personally.

Trying to make me out as some rabble rouser is borderline paranoia.

Are you trying to suggest that I am secretly contacting other posters to get you banned?

I suppose I should be grateful there was no death wish

And I need help??????

We have so many deluded fans, they said we gone win the pl but this week they say manu were the better team.

What’s delusional about Utd being the better team? They’ve been above us for 34 games.
That’s has nothing to do with money though it’s about their manager and players having the mentality to do what it takes to win games. Finish 5th win a double.

With Fellaini, Lukaku, Smalling, Jones, Young, Lingard in the side.....are you saying they are better than our players?

Or is it a case of they know how to close out a season one way or another.

Leicester, or didn’t that happen?

Did they pay more than City that year or am I missing something.
Maybe you’ll say “that was a freak”.....well you also said “never”..

Why are you referring to the we then?

I dont understand whats delusional though unless Im picking you up wrong?

Some fans thought we could win the win PL.....they also accept that Utd have been better than us this season.
I dont get why thats weird.

And considering City had it wrapped up by December, we are not way off from everyone else, all things considered.

We have finished above City for the last two seasons......impossible to some, considering they spent about a billion pounds in that time. Yet we did it anyway, so why wouldnt we think it possible again last August?
Because they bought Kyle Walker?

Hindsight is great, but the money argument doesnt stack up.

People keep saying its the current model, or wages. If players down tools to get pay rises, they should be fired, not rewarded. The talent is there, the motivation and mental strength is whats questionable.

You're on ignore from now by the way, like your sidekick has been for the last 5 days. Everyone can see you continue arguing with yourself.
Anyone who says the ignore function ruins threads is a liar that just wants to bicker. Its been bliss here since I started using it, and it only gets better after this post with you gone.

Better for the entire forum....or maybe not, declining cunt offs and defending the squad seemingly gets you yellow carded now. Maybe I should have slagged off Davies and Trippier, and engaged in you in your silly games.
Oh well, I hope they enjoy your posts, thank fuck I wont see them.

Early in the season, some fans thought we could win the PL which is possible But it is not realistic expectation.
We lost to manu last weekend, those same fans are now saying we lost to manu because they spent £750m, they are higher than us in the table and they are the better team.
We could have won the SF but as you said the motivation and mental strength is whats questionable and I believe that comes from the management down to the players. Second half in Wembley was very tough to watch.
