Playing most of our home games at Wembley, with the various inconvenient injuries that we've had, without signing any reinforcements, with the investment of Liverpool & City...

The title would have been a miracle this season. If we can keep the same core, ship the dead weight and plug the gaps, I truly believe we will challenge next season in the new stadium. And let's not forget, we have a great shot at the league cup, a decent shot at FA cup, and we're still fighting in the Champions League despite a rocky start. All that considered, top 3 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Today's result is deeply upsetting, given the other results this weekend. Still the best club in the world, though, and the future is bright.

Said it before. "Statistically" next season should be our title challenge.

Our PPG ratio has increased every single year under Pochettino and if it improves again then we should be looking at our record Premier League points total which realistically should win us the league.

The only issue is that it relies on the OTHER teams round us to regress.

Last season it didn’t improve

"Every single year"

Read.

2015: 1.78 PPG
2016: 1.91 PPG
2017: 2.17 PPG
2018: 2.29 PPG

If our PPG ratio is improved on this year and then again in 2020 (which makes up half of next season), then we should be hitting a record high points tally in the league. 90 odd points. If we don't win the league with 90 odd points, we're unlucky.

Beat Fulham & we will be saying the title race is back on. Then when we stumble we will say "what did you expect?", we can't expect to compete with the rich kids! Tis the fighting cock way.

The race is on for top 4 & we have a decent chance at a domestic cup too.
Dortmund is a toss up in my opinion. Will be very tight.

:pochohshit:

Top four finish, a cup (preferably the FA Cup, but the League Cup would be nice as well)) and the quarter finals of the Champions League would be an amazing season for us.. Our chances of actually winning the league were always close to zero.
