The City team is now so strong that for them not to win something next season would be a grade A embrassement. Same to a lesser degree with Chelsea. Unfortunately spending works if you do enough of it, Chelsea and City where West Ham sized teams before the gangster and the slave owner turned up.
For us we have a great manager, a really good first 11 but a few depth issues. Irrelevant of what the other teams do we are probably 1-2 strong players away from a complete squad particularly considering we are in the CL.
Pereira and Barkley would be for the most part good signings, maybe that and another pacey player. After that it's just about getting Toby and the like signed long term.
