Dru, you're right. When Azza is at his best is when he's running at full backs. In the first half of the 09/10 season before he got injured that's exactly what he did and it was the best he's ever played. He has brought more into his game though which is good like keeping the ball and playing it simple when needed but he does that a little too often now and doesn't look to run onto the ball like he used to.

The Corluka/Lennon partnership worked as well as the Ekotto/Bale one does at one point because Lennon would give Corluka the option of the ball over the top of the full back. You could argue he does that less now because of the introduction of Walker who's obviously a very different full back to Corluka but he was doing it last season too.

Just look at the run to the byline and dinked cross onto the penalty spot area when it was 0-0 last night to Ade's head. Should've resulted in a goal and that's what he should be doing a lot more, especially at WHL.

That's my only reservation with Adebayor, he doesn't put the ball in the back of the net enough for the amount of decent positions he get's himself in. He should of had about 5 goals last night.
