I've never been in the habit of blocking accounts here, there or anywhere. But have blocked dozens of Spurs-centric Twitter accounts in recent months. People feel passionately about their football club and want it to succeed. Anybody can see that ours has been beset by poor decision after poor decision in recent years. Results like Newcastle really drove people over the edge, the cost of match-going experience vs the quality of the football is not in balance, and people are fearful of what's in store post Kane.
Algorithms are leading to us read more and more posts from people who converse about the things we like.. and the posts that generate engagement are either pretty good posts, controversial posts, or plain dumb as shit posts.
