Gazza
Foyth - Dav - Tang - Sess
Gedson - Ndombele
Lamela - GLC - Son
Willian Jose 😂 (seriously Lucas)

2-1 Tottenham

Lloris
Tanganga - Sanchez - Alderweireld
Aurier - Ndombele - Dier - Lo Celso - Sessegnon
Dele
Son
I can 100% see this.

Brings Tanganga and Sanchez back in but keeps experienced Alderweireld with them. Aurier and Sessegnon on either side due to Davies not being fit and Rose being shit.

Ndombele back in with Dier screening behind him and Lo Celso. After Jose's comments about Lucas and Lamela being fatigued, both rested and we push Dele further up to play just off of Son.

Scrappy 1-2 win. Through to the next round. Bring it on.

Sadly, I can see the same team as this evening. Jose doesn’t seem to be a massive fan of changing teams around. Would like him to play Dele or Son through the middle, with Sess on the left and Lucas right for pace. 3 CBs you’ve named and Aurier (Tanganga dropping in LB when needed).

Leaves GLC and N’Dombele through the middle. Problem is that one would have to hold and they’re not great at that.

So...

Southampton are in very good form. If they were in more of a relegation battle then I’d be more confident, but they’ve pulled clear of that.

In our ranks there's Erik Lamela/Gio Lo Celso... He's had a dream for a year or two...
That one day, he's gonna play at Wembley... now his dream is coming true!
Erik/Gio, we're gonna be behind ya.. altogether Man for Man....
We know, you're gonna play a blinder...
"In de Cup for Totting-ham..."

COME, ON YOU.... SPURS, ARE ON THEIR WAY TO WEMBLEY... TOTTENHAM'S GONNA DO IT AGAIN...

Reckon Dele will be up front as he was for much of the second half last night

Might see a back five with two attacking FB's

Lloris
Tanganga - Sanchez - Toby
Aurier LoCelso Ndombele Ryan
Lucas Dele Son

Strong Bench - Gaza, Dier, Foyth, Eriksen, Gedson, Lamela, Vert,

Wonder if it would be worth sticking Deli in the false 9 position and having Son and Moura on the wings. Moura is not suited to Mourinhos style of play as a number 10.

Important not to give away free kicks in dangerous areas. Ward Prowse can be deadly. Remember last season? Aurier should be made aware of this as he's the most likely candidate.
