I've always wanted to see Skipp progress after his impressive debut in the cup game last season. Not sure if he has it in him yet to be a regular starter, but I just get excited whenever he's in the squad for a game, want to see more of him.

Well he should have the fixtures between now and January for starters. 3 or 4 good games in a row could be the making of him.
We all know that won't happen or do you expect him to start at Molineux on Sunday or one week later v the chavs? :mourhandlaugh: He would be lucky to make the squad!

So you think Jose will keep the Dier experience going just because....?

If Jose is the real deal he'll reach down, adjust his balls, and do what's best for the team.

Yeah if Skipp stays this season, he'll barely crack 300 minutes.

Get him a loan where he's playing week in and week out.

Otherwise he'll go down the same route as KWP and Onomah in terms of overall development.

If Skipp can't get into this team, sell him. Why bother loaning him to leave him sitting behind dross or a new player when he returns.

For his sake, I'd hope he got sold to further his development.

He isn't getting games here. Just isn't happening. We, ESPECIALLY Mourinho isn't going to start a 19 year old in central midfield when he rates Dier so much and we have Sissoko, Ndombele, Winks and in todays case Wanyama too.

He should play. Alot more minutes from the bench and probably even starting too but he isn't going to. That's not Mourinhos style. Ffs, he bigged up Parrott all week, took him to Germany over Kane and didn't even give him a second.

What makes you think he'll give Skipp any more than a few minutes here and there!?

If Mourinho is the manager we need and think he is, he'll pick his best team. So far he's had Dier, Winks, N'Dombele and cameos for Wanyama and Skipp in DM.

Who would you say is the most mobile out of those?
Who do you reckon based on what we've seen is capable of winning back possession most?

Put it like this, if Jose is going to be a success and justify his colossal wages he has to be bold and have no favourites, just those that make up the best team he can. His initiation is over, now he needs results, and not just against teams we should beat, against those we are competing against.

I'll go a step further. We shouldn't be surprised at tonight, because Jose's reaction to play against a pacey ttack is to withdraw into our own penalty area. It's also the reason we turned over possession so much and never put them under any pressure.

If we are buying a DM (we have to!) Loan him if not start him he's raw as hell and will probably be caught out a bit, but at least he can run no coincidence that as soon as he came as Bayern just stopped walking through the midfield. Dier is either utterly broken or needs a year on a treadmill to lose the extra 2 stone he seems to have gained.

Was like watching Ruiz Jr today in that midfield he just cant move.

Fuck that. Play him in the center of the park now and give him five months of PL experience. He is no worse that those turds we keep trotting out their in Sissoko and Dier. Stop giving older men the chance when they clearly cannot cut it.

Here or on loan he needs playing time. The Poch method of "keeping them in house" has hampered the vast majority of our youth prospects in recent years so we need to get these guys out playing. For their and our long term benefit.
