Media in full swing today, Poch wants 15 year deal yet will manage a different club next year.

Kane inspired by Totti staying at one club but can't turn down Real Madrid, yet Rashford will turn them down.

Breaking news Madrid to bid for new stadium "construction workers want out"

Madrid have a habit of taking Tottenham s best talents, hold on habit? 2 players? Like Beckham and Ronaldo?

Forget football the media is ruining the world

Add another 4 to the Utd list:
Cunningham, van Nistlerooy, Gabriel Heinze & Owen.

Alan Brazil onTalk Shite this morning:

"Zidane opens the door for Madrid to sign Harry Kane as he calls him "the complete player"."

So first of all - do we or the player get no say in this? Because Zidane rates Kane then its a done deal is it?

Which manager in world football doesn't rate Kane? I appreciate that whilst there may be an air of inevitability in all this how fucking presumptions is this statement?

We could go there and win tonight and the headlines tomorrow will be about Kane putting himself in the shop window.

Is that really what the general consumer of this shit wants to hear / read? Or have they just been conditioned to it over years and years of having to fill columns and minutes of air time.

Surely people would be happier paying for genuine insight and opinion over downright fabrication, regurgitated ad nauseam.
That statement from Zidane is more for Perez. Madrid's coaches get about as much say in which players are purchased as I do.

Fuck me, These cunts don;t give us a moments rest do they? From the BBC live text.

Tuesday 5 April, 2011. The last time Tottenham faced Real Madrid - a 5-0 loss at the Bernabeu Stadium.

On that same night, Harry Kane came off the bench for Leyton Orient in their League One win over Plymouth.

Six years on and the Spurs and England striker may be auditioning for a future job in a Los Blancos shirt.

Onto tonight's talking point...

Will Harry Kane end up at Real Madrid one day? How would he get on in Spain? Does he need to make the move?

Just listening to the BBC analysis. Ten mins ago they were saying ‘how can spurs hold on to poch after that performance? He is the big winner - put him self in the shop window’ blah blah blah ‘spurs will be powerless to prevent a ‘big team’ going in for him’
Absolute joke. Totally ignoring his comments about wanting to stay hear for the next 15 years. Why do they hate us so much!?

Jamie Redknapp heaps praise on Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino

Whist shitting all over Tottenham at the same time. :pochfacepalm:
"They have to be as ambitious as he is. As much as he'd like to stay at Tottenham, and they've got a lot going on in terms of the new stadium and they're moving to the next level',"
"It's Daniel Levy who has to step into line in respects of investing in the squad and giving the manager what he wants."

BT pundits were exactly the same last night. If they just stopped and reflect on what they are saying they might actually understand how much shit they are talking. When pundits say Levy has to match Kane's, Poch's ambition they do realise that it's the ambition of Levy that is putting this show together, like building one of the best training grounds in World, like building one of the best stadiums in the World, like hiring one of the best Managers in the World, handing him the longest managerial contract to a manager in the History of the club, to openly claiming he wants him to be at the club for 15yrs or so, to giving him complete control over the football elements of our Club, which includes final say on incomings and outgoings, to completely backing him in the transfer window braking transfer records in each window (Sanchez, Sissoko, Son, Aurier). Name me a Chairman in World football who is more ambitious than Levy, that isn't a country.

Think Redknapp Jnr should think his dad was lucky to manage our great club. Look at what has happened to him since being binned off by Levy.

Getting sick of this media rhetoric of we need to pay our players more. It’s only the financially doped and the likes of Utd, Woolwich and the dippers who have a larger turnover and bigger annual wage bill. Yet are any of those £150k+ pw players any better or in some case worse than our squad? Rewarding mediocrity is ruining it for everyone else.

Was there ever a campaign to get Alan Shearer out of Newcastle who won diddly squat?!?

Some positive words in The Times today (even if they do still have to refer to players leaving):

Henry Winter:
"Spurs’ display will doubtless intensify speculation linking their players elsewhere but really this performance signalled they are here to stay, and why their players should stay. Pochettino is building something special, and the camaraderie is clear to see. Now is not the time to leave Spurs. The party’s just beginning."

Matt Dickinson:
"Perhaps one day, having run out of English candidates, the FA will ask Pochettino to manage the national team as a part-time hobby. When can he start? Given his influence, some might say that he already has."
