If you are such a dedicated 46 year fan and your not the only one in the world mate, then stop bollocking the club we love and bloody support it and the current manager who is in charge of our team!! We are not privy to what is occouring and others who are inside the tent have placed their trust in AVB, who incidently does not look as if he has foundered on the rocks.! Such negativity belongs elsewhere like QPR!
Do you actually believe that if we all think positively, that everything will turn out right? Do you think that if we all have a positive opinion of the current manager, he will suddenly start picking motivated and inspired players - and get them to play to a system that makes the best use of their talents?
Do you believe in Santa as well?
Because I don't. I'm all grown up now and I do not believe that any discussion (here) about players, tactics, formations - or guesswork about AVBs abilities or Redknapps for that matter, will influence, change or determine what happens next.
One thing is for sure, nothing said on here will change what I saw at the weekend, or all of this season to date - and neither will it change my opinion that at the moment the team is a rudderless, uninspired and demotivated collection of individuals, who are either unwilling or incapable of playing as a team.
We can get away with it against the lesser teams, because of the qualities of the individuals, but the minute we play against motivated groups of people playing to a system and working for each other, we unravel like a ball of wool in a cattery.
Its an opinion, based on my experience of watching professional football over a long period of time.
It does not mean I want him to fail. I want more than anything in the world (of football) for him to get it to slot into place, and work. I want him to find out what is wrong, and what is preventing his manifesto from coming to fruition, and get the defence back together and the attack to start scoring. I want AVB to be the next Bill Nicholson - I have no issues with him personally, I want him to be an outrageous success.
But neither do I want to watch him fiddle whilst Spurs burn.
