Good signing if it does go through. He's solid, reliable and provides better depth at right back with it being his natural position.

It's about getting players in who will improve our squad and he and Wimmer do just that. Would like for us to improve our depth upfront as well as a central midfielder but I'm confident the manager and his staff know our weaknesses.

Here he is vs chelski

some things i found of him what some sites are saying is that he has realy good vision and great pass range.
that why he had so many successful crosses, he navigates the backline a lot what is a +, also if it is from the RB spot. His ball interception are good but reminde you of CB not on a RB, his lack of pace makes a big impact of his decsion making, so he avoids to hold the ball long, ball holding is also his biggest weakness but imo this is more of a confident thing what can be trained out.

all in all he is a good playmaker from the side. loves to try long balls some times he fails the speed of the others but maybe burnley players arent the fastest(they also looked very lame vs chelski)

he still has to take a bigstep to be a nr.1 RB but MP showed with some players that he can bring them to the Next step. in the worst case we have maybe a walker pusher like davis who isnt that bad to be a sub.
for 3.5m its a nice deal.

Love the last sentence: fuck you, Liverpool.
As at the end Burnley's final game of last season, both he and Danny Ings were the last men standing.

The pair, poignantly, left the pitch together after the lap of appreciation for supporters.

They applauded fans on each side of Turf Moor and took their time to take it all in before they arrived back at the tunnel.

A similar age and stature with a penchant for tattoo art, they were like peas in a pod.

It is a blow to lose both.

But when it comes to boots left to be filled, Trippier's are bigger.
Wow!
And yes... is always nice to sign a player with the blessing of his previous club... rather than the usual 'North London yobbos' ... 'He can do better than Spurs, he should've signed for Woolwich' ... "he's better off staying here" bitterness we are usually met with!

HE'S PASSED HIS MEDICAL.... JIM WHITE JUST FUCKING SAID SO!
IT'S GONNA BE ON THE SSN YELLOW TICKER ANY MINUTE!!!!

The transfer window is well and truly under way!
