Talk about going from hero to zero in a week, against Ajax he was talked about as the second coming of Chris Waddle, he could be our next midfield maestro, or at the very least our starting right back from this moment on......
This kid is rash, has been from day one, every time he plays he looks like he could dismantle a game in 2 moves.......No doubting the kid has some footballing talent, but he’s a massive liability, one game he could put Messi in his pocket, the next he will chop down some average striker for 2 or 3 penalties before halftime......Going forward into next season, any team with any serious ambition of winning anything can’t seriously consider this guy as a starting player.

Why not? Gascoigne was an accident waiting to happen ... Cantona? Ginola? ... Ramos has 24 red cards but RM and Spain seem OK with him playing ... sure he needs to learn but he's just turned 21 and has only 10 games to his credit ... give the lad a chance

Doesnt appear to have the highest footballing IQ. I remember he gave away a couple penalties earlier in the season and also had a blunder vs BVB. He needs to go watch some film this summer.
Those penalties he essentially had to give because Trippier put him in a position where he had to both times. Otherwise the Wolves player would have had scored either way.

he is a good player, but both him & Davidson have can be rash and give away free kicks & penalties, those that think either one of them can take over from Toby next season may need to think again

He's just 21, give him a chance.

He needs to better understand the limits of his ability.

Many defenders along with all goalkeepers think they're Modric or Cruyff. They're not. Unfortunately overplaying their 'ability' hand often results in a goal, penalty, freekick or yellow or red card.

He'll learn or he's out.

Interesting stat for you all.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth completed more take-ons [19] than any other central defender in the Premier League during the 2018/2019 season.

Considering how many minutes he’s played this season, that’s impressive.

Maguire was second on the list with 18.

He played near on 2000 more minutes than Foyth did.

He'll be the bollocks with more experience, more time in the gym and a consistent partner with playing time.

Completely agree with you mate, he makes mistakes because he doesn’t play week in week out. I think he’s the bollocks.

He’s had some outstanding performances, he’s made a few cock ups but we see that every week from defenders in the Premier League.

People forget his age...

Mistakes don't bother me. His red card against Bournemouth was stupid and there's a time and place for advancing with the ball but he's brave, fearless and everything a Spurs player should be in this Poch team.

Looking forward to seeing how he is in pre-season. Who knows? Poch may even decide to play him in defensive midfield, where he could flourish.

Agree again mate, it happens. When you’ve got Jan/Toby to sweep up everything’s fine. He’s excellent and composed on the ball. Knows his surroundings and takes players to the cleaners with one touch.

Pre-season will be massive for him. To be honest, anything is better than having Eric Dier in the defensive midfield position. Fingers crossed Poch plays him there in pre-season, alongside Luke Amos when he’s back fully from injury. The boy looks sharp. (Not bias because he’s my friend at all haha)

Played alongside Luke and he’s unbelievable. I hope he plays for England one day.

Chiriches was fucking shite, never compare anyone to that man 😂😂😂 :avbfu:
