No doubt. Toby must have been asking for some mental money for nobody to take him @25m

I think Rose could get 80k a week from a mid table club.
Tifo did a video on this recently. Some players also ask for some downright silly "bonuses" in their deal. One player had his deal with a top 6 prem team fall apart because he demanded unlimited private plane rides. Not team/work related, but private. And another one wanted the buying club to cover his court fees for his divorce.

Then of course there are agent fees that are also spiralling.

Two England internationals - Spurs' Harry Kane, 26, and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, 21 - are on Spanish champions Barcelona's list of centre-forward targets. (Mundo Deportivo - in Spanish)

World Class McGinn rocking up a hat trick today. We could really use his legs in the middle of the park instead of Winks
Don't see the point in McGinn unless we're writing off Ndombele.

Plus, wasn't it San Marino that Haggisland was playing today. Fuxsake, even Toby scored against them.

McGinn is a really good player, he will join a top 4 team in the near future. Our midfield is dead on it's feet and we need new energy, quality and depth, McGinn would be so much better than Dier, Wanyama or Sissoko. We need more than just Ndombele (who has been horrible defensively) if we are going to start playing good football again.

He may do so, but by that time Ndombele could have adapted to PL life and be a far better player.

For what it's worth, McGinn reminds me of someone who relishes being the underdog far more than being in the dominant team.

But he's a far cry from the player that got the piss taken out of him by a 16 year old a couple of years ago.

No way will we sign anyone of the quality to be able to come in and make an immediate difference to this side

Rashfords agent working overdrive again - managed to get him £200K and a starting CF last time, wonder what he wants this time.

Maddison, Grealish or McGinn pick one!

None of them. All will be too expensive we missed the boat. Move on and find the next one coming through. I'd have liked Grealish but even if they get relegated do you really see them selling for any less than £45m? It's simply too much money, I'd rather we spend that elsewhere and the same applies to the rumoured £60M for Maddison, it's bonkers money.

McGinn is a good player, but he is much better suited to a team like Villa where they don’t have much possession. He is not a good enough passer of the ball and when we see 10 men behind the ball constantly, it’s easy to see him becoming a weak link. Wouldn’t be surprised if he stays in the Prem for a long time though no matter what happens to Villa though.
