My uncle used to manage Chas 'n' Dave before he died, and they held me when I was a baby.

Claim to fame right there, I was always destined to be Spurs.
 
(figured I'd try to put this together while watching some baseball and getting some work done. I'm not sure about the 'Come on you' part and the 'Everybody will be singing' part, since the only instrument I have at hand is a cavaquinho, and the chord voicings are rather limited on it...)

Got mixed feelings about Chas and Dave. Always like their songs for the club, but I encountered them in a pub some years ago and they were a right couple of arrogant wankers, especially Dave Peacock, who acted like he was a major celebrity along the lines of an ex-Beatle or Rolling Stone. Took the shine off of songs like this one for me (athough it's Ossie that makes it special IMO).

Make of that what you will....and don't shoot the messenger!
