£8m? A lot for someone with 6 months left on their contract but we should just go out and get him as soon as the window opens. We desperately need pace covered on the flanks as shown when one of Lennon or Bale misses a game.

We need a striker but at the same time we have to play Defoe and VDV as much as possible. So getting Hoillet who can cover the wings and play up front if needed would be good for that, although if/when Ade goes you wouldnt think we'd rely on hoillet as a striker.

As mentioned on the podcast this week, Hoilett plays on the left for Blackburn.

Not convinced myself.
