Harry Winks is getting back to his best ? And no DM beside him so he has to do that role too !
Very good performance today. Much much better than before. Hope he continues to improve. Even put in a decent defensive performance.

Im trying to remember those 7 chances though..there was an excellent cross to Llorente , what else? Someone who was paying attention to mainly Harry Winks can maybe shed light on this. In any case , hope he puts in similar performances against better teams too.

Chances created = the pass before a shot

Showed tonight that a holding midfield role is certainly where his future lies, so important that his teammates have faith in him and they do, 10.5% of our play went through him, on Eriksen with 12% had more time on the ball, 90% pass completion the best in a Spurs shirt on the night ... and he chucked in 4 winning tackles ...

Let's hope he's got the lillywhite blood in his veins ... could be our midfield general for a decade ....

100% of your post boils my piss. Leave the stats elsewhere and just enjoy his majesticness,

Aah the key passes stat.

Last night though, after being down so early, and players like Son, Lucas who take the ball run run run and have a shot can mean even a sideways pass to one of these guys could be a 'chance created'. Even Davies had 4 shots, a sideways pass to Davies and he has a go from long range also gets counted as 'chance created' while not really being a chance of any kind.

On SC he was my adopted son for two years running. So much made of the iniesta comments a couple seasons back and then a collective of badmouthers.

He is making a name for himself and I am happy to see it. Has been down to fitness from the start and if it weren’t for that injury he would have been the first name picked in midfield. He has it in him to be a Xavi type of player and if Wanyama was healthy we would be a very strong side. I would love to see him beside a player like Diawara or De Jong.
