Sums up.the time under poch. Too many friends and not enough winning mentality. At top level football your manager should never be your mate
Alex Ferguson spot on it was a job player(employee) club(employer) Ferguson (in charge) do as your told as well as you can and suffer for it if you don’t, simple.

Make this man our captain.

Now.

Plus he'll know who the snakes are in the dressing room too so we can keep out of the First Team squad. Lloris is a lovely guy but he's not tough or vocal enough to be a club captain.

good effort from kane today and his form is getting better.

going forward, we need him to start produce in meaningful games against top teams. you can bang in all the goals against mediocre/poor teams and get individual stats/numbers up but those goals don't usually equate to team trophies.

He‘s scored against Liverpool, Leicester, Woolwich and Bayern this season. Aside from City these are pretty much the only “top” teams we’ve played.

Some people still think of him as a flat-track bully for some reason.

He’s a threat against anybody. He’s more than proven himself. He’s in our top 3 goal scorers of all time, and extremely likely to be in our top 2. Legendary status achieved already, in my book.

If he eclipses Greaves we’re literally talking statue and stand-name status.

Technically yeah but several were penalties, no?

Going back to last year, how many goals has he scored against top level teams that weren't penalties...I could bet that his "Goal (non PK) to games played" ratio is less than 1/3 which isn't great for a world class player like Kane. I'm not trying to be negative but trying to look at his performance a little deeper than just number of goals scored. On the bright side, he's on the right track and he's getting back to form.

If the team creates the chances he will put them away. Simple. Great to see him genuinely happy after he scored. Not seen that joy very much this season
