Big change last night I noticed was he seemed to drop back when we lost the ball into midfield and allowed Son and Ali to press. Must of either had a word with Poch or vice versa about his inability to press, whatever way it was it worked a treat.
Allowed him to drop back and spray those passes to faster runners on the counter but then join back in and cause chaos with his movement when we had sustained possession, but also for the first time in almost a year we pressed from the front like we used to. Was a fucking joy to behold

Smith is a long shot for this season, but it’s scary to think that he’s only two seasons or so away from reaching Greaves.
