That's handy to know. This must be the first time ever that tv companies have announced the date they'll be announcing the dates of the actual games!?

They did it last year, THST were publicising the release dates a lot throughout the season. Planned dates were often missed by a few days though!

I was going to say I remember us being at home on same day as Rugby Challenge Cup final on many previous occasions and it's never been a real problem before... :goonermong:

So they're going to release the TV picks for Oct and Nov the day before the season kicks off? If that's the case, why couldn't they make the picks at the same time as the Aug/Sep ones and give fans a bit more notice? Nothing's gonna happen between 10th July and 11th Aug to change the thinking on which matches should be on TV, surely!

Apparently those dates are 'advisory' so we all know what that means.
