Our Spurs XI beat West Ham 5-2 in a training ground friendly at Chadwell Heath on Monday morning.
Harry Kane scored twice with further goals from Dean Parrett, Yago Falque and Cristian Ceballos.
The lads started brightly and both Kane and John Bostock went close before Parrett, a driving force in centre midfield, opened the scoring on 20 minutes, following in to finish from close range after Kane's header was blocked.
The Hammers levelled completely against the run of play after 25 minutes but we restored the lead within two minutes as Falque cut in from the right before drilling low back into the bottom right corner with his left foot.
Kane made it 4-1 before half-time. First he curled into the bottom corner from 20 yards for 3-1 and then finished high into the net after fine work from the impressive Andros Townsend.
The second half didn't match the first in terms of goalmouth action, although Kane and Townsend both curled efforts inches wide.
Ceballos grabbed the fifth from close range after 77 minutes and Townsend went close again before the home side completed the scoring in the final minute.
"The first half was excellent," said Tim Sherwood, our Technical Co-Ordinator. "And good thing is that the likes of Yago Falque, Tom Carroll, Andros Townsend, Harry Kane and Ryan Fredericks have all topped up on their match time.
"Dean Parrett played well and so did John Bostock, so there were plenty of positives for us."
Spurs XI: Jansson (Granger, 77); Fredericks, Luongo (Oyenuga, 79), Nicholson, Carroll (Day, 75); Ceballos, Falque, Parrett, Townsend; Bostock; Kane.
