Huge difference for Llorente today was the service to him, chalk and cheese between this week and last week. Put the ball where he wants it and he will do the business ... worth one more year just for tonight.

His strength and composure to bring down some of those long balls was incredible. Nando is exactly the kind of guy you need in your team - happy to wait for his chances and make a difference when called upon. Give him another year. Deserved.

Remember how for a while we were saying we needed someone to be the old head, the one who had been there done that around Europe

We found him, filled the gap we needed as a number 9 and seems to be the big brother on campus too, take a bow, so many important contributions - masterful

Huge professional and total quality act. Sits on the bench all season waiting for Kane to get injured then comes in and does the business in important games. Seems to love the club. Starting to gain cult legendary status in my view.
Example of professionalism and humility.
At Juventus we remember him as a true gentleman

Everything stuck to him yesterday. Awful player to defend against. How do you deal with him if you don't have a defender physical enough to stop the long balls and subsequent lay offs?

Liverpool do unfortunately, but perhaps Kane will be back anyway.

Kane is a top player but Llorente is an excellent twelfth, thirteenth man.
Always humble, he always finds himself ready, never a word too many. At Juventus he was adored for his attitude. I'm happy for him: with Manchester City and Ajax he was decisive.

I really hope they keep Llorente. He’s no superstar, but he a perfect squad player for this Spurs team. He offers something that none of the other Spurs attacking players can offer as shown perfectly by the Ajax game. He won’t be able to do that against every team/defense, but he can be effective in certain spots. Also, he not a guy who going to be discontented with sitting behind Kane/Son/Lucas and coming off the bench. Most quality strikers will probably want more minutes which might be hard come by with the current squad. Finally, Spurs should be able to keep him for relatively cheap.
