He's good in that position but the common consensus is he lacks the legs or agility to thrive in a super fast paced environment (like the PL).

I'd be curious to know who wins at a 100m sprint between Dier and Wanyama

Here’s Diers stats this season:

Under Poch he didnt play in 9 of the 12 PL games.

In those 13 games, we conceded 14 goals.

Games Dier didn’t play under Jose:
P5 W0 L3 D2
In those 5 games we conceded 6 goals

Take the piss all you want about him, but you haven’t really got a case.
It’s not coincidence, or in spite of him.

It’s a simple fact that we are better off using a DM. No more, no less.

Or if either of them would complete it!

No no, they'd complete it, just very slowly.

Ndombele would complete 67 or so meters very quickly, with some insane stopovers thrown in for good measure- and then have to be subbed off for lamela.

Lamela pulls a hammy at the 99th meter, but manages to complete the 100 bu rabonaing himself across the line, immediately tended to by doctors afterwards.

Everyone else on the winter break: Goes on vacation, spends time with family and friends.

Eric Dier: Is out in the desert in a boiler suit. Probably on some grand adventure to find lost treasure.

More proof that footballers are on too much money...Eric Dier going to Mars during the winter break...

Goalscoring and assist stats that show Dele being amongst the best Am's in the league (his goal to game ratio actually being the very best) does not matter to you but these stats that tell us nothing about Dier's individual performances prove everything.

You really are a very odd human being.

If we keep winning 5-4 every match with Gazzaniga but lose 1-0 with Lloris then according to some Gazzaniga is a better keeper because he was there when the rest of them won it for us.

Do we win more games when Dele plays and lose less when he doesn’t?
Impossible to say right. Because he played 99% of the time, despite us being so poor, despite us losing games, Dele is right there anyway.

By the way, here’s the stats for the times Dele has played a full 90 this season:
P12 W4 L5 D3

In the 4 games Dele won playing 90, guess who also played 90 in those games. Dier.

Of the 5 defeats where Dele played 90, Dier did not spent a second on the pitch for 4 of them.
He played 45 minutes in one single game.

Well this is awkward.

If we lose less games with Gaz then it’s better he plays.
If Diers stats were the polar opposite, would you also also disregard it?

Yes its awkward because you're bringing out pointless stats despite you claiming you hate pointless stats (labelling assist stats as that lol).

"In the 90 minute so and so played" give me a break man. It could be many factors why we won those games. How about you actually carry on claiming stats are deceiving OR give us individual performance stats of Dier. One or the other but quit being a fucking hypocrite.
