Like Levy gives a toss about the area. He spent millions of the clubs money trying to get us there, and then spent millions more appealing when we didn't get it. Believe me, he was desperate to get that stadium, and if he really wanted to stay in Tottenham that much, why hasn't a brick been laid yet, and why hasn't he legally committed the club to it yet ?

It wasn't wasted, it was strategic. You obviously don't understand the full workings of the whole situation. Not that any of us do really. But the borough were trying to rip us off over the whole thing. Thfc is just about the only thing in Tottenham of any value and importance. Us leaving the borough would have been 100 times worse for them than us. Levy called bluff.

A move as big as that would never have been made.
 
There's only one person that knows the ins and outs of the Stratford saga but IMO it was a tactical play.

The man is a Spurs legend. Net spend or not, thanks be to Allah that we have spent the Bale money to push on. What did Woolwich do with the Van P and Fabregas money?

Right there, you give Levy no credit at all for the players he bought being the ones that got us into the CL, yet it is totally his fault for not buying a striker and us subsequently not getting CL.

Not worth arguing with.
 
The net spend argument is a joke as well. The fact our net spend is low is a good thing. If we are improving and not spending beyond our means, that's fucking genius.
