Nothing has changed my mind since this post in April.I don't think he's had a great season to be honest, too many games where he was anonymous. I wouldn't be adverse to moving him on at all.
Who could we replace him with? Perhaps Ziyech from Ajax?
We're suffering the same problem with Eriksen as Toby, they don't want to be here, we wanted absolute top penny for both thinking "Well if no one comes in for them, then they'll sign a new contract" and instead both are happy to run down their contracts.
Though neither are heading to the big team they think they are.
25m for Toby is hardly demanding top dollar.
The year before I meant when Man Ure were interested and we said "No give us £70 million"25m for Toby is hardly demanding top dollar.
He wanted top dollar too.

If we had taken £40 million for both we could have been in such a better state.
I'd say if Eriksen had been priced at that aas opposed to £130million we could have gotten rid of him.Who offered 40m for Eriksen then?

Seems Danny boy prices our players in line with other transfers as opposed to the situation in hand.
Far from it, very far from it.We priced him high a couple of years ago as we didn't want to sell. This summer we'd have taken 40-50m but seemingly no-one bid.
If we'd sold Toby & CE 2 years ago at cut price there'd have been riots....
You're being disingenuous here, Captain Hindsight..

Toby was on the wain, we had just had a great season with Dav and Jan, Toby started shit-stirring. He was refusing a contract extension back then, there should have been no need for hindsight, it was plain then.
Eriksen turns round just before our biggest game ever and announces he wants to leave the club. Did we think he was joking? Playing games with Liverpool? Nope he meant it. We then spent the summer getting turned down by a player that manny on here already said was going missing in big games.
Then again, the top managers and teams know when to make changes andhow to make those chnges.
But we're not talking two years ago for both players. That was this summer and he was on the market then.... As already pointed out we weren't demanding your quoted 130m at that point.
I maintain 80m for the pair of them 2 years ago; there'd have been riots.

Toby for £40 million LAST YEAR, Eriksen for £40 million this summer.
