We need to move on from him, his head is not there and Tottenham is not his priority. We should be using him in domestic cup matches and give him occasional minutes in the PL/CL if we are already out of sight.

We're suffering the same problem with Eriksen as Toby, they don't want to be here, we wanted absolute top penny for both thinking "Well if no one comes in for them, then they'll sign a new contract" and instead both are happy to run down their contracts.

I'd say if Eriksen had been priced at that aas opposed to £130million we could have gotten rid of him.

His is infinitely stranger than Eriksen who is going nowhere near a top club unless any buyer dismisses the majority of the last 12/18 months .
He is going to be close to 28. Very few midfielders get so much better at that age and he will cost 10 million plus per annum.
We priced him high a couple of years ago as we didn't want to sell. This summer we'd have taken 40-50m but seemingly no-one bid.
If we'd sold Toby & CE 2 years ago at cut price there'd have been riots....

Toby was on the wain, we had just had a great season with Dav and Jan, Toby started shit-stirring. He was refusing a contract extension back then, there should have been no need for hindsight, it was plain then.
Eriksen turns round just before our biggest game ever and announces he wants to leave the club. Did we think he was joking? Playing games with Liverpool? Nope he meant it. We then spent the summer getting turned down by a player that manny on here already said was going missing in big games.
Then again, the top managers and teams know when to make changes andhow to make those chnges.
That was this summer and he was on the market then.... As already pointed out we weren't demanding your quoted 130m at that point.

Two years ago neither had made it clear they were going to leave.
Worse still was how Poch tried to put off our poor August form was down to the European window being open when we already had the inkling Eriksen's mind wasn't on us.
.....And as I've already reminded you despite Eriksen with that region of pricetag and Toby for a mere 25m NO-ONE bought them this summer.
