What is this thread all about?

Solidarity and support for a former Spurs player who is on the fringes of being a legend as well as being a very good Spurs assistant manager........who has been a decent manager at lower PL clubs and clubs trying to get into PL. Brighton won't get a better more successful manager than one who got them to PL for the first time

I think CH will have more than a few job offers this summer, Brighton will surely come to regret this bizarre decision.
Had Brighton reached the Cup Final, would he still be in a job today, I think so.

Fuck 'em all, Chrissy!!!

Sucsk considering what Ashley pulled on him at the Barcodes too, but "Promotion specialist" ain't a bad rep to have is it now?

To classy to be out of work for long..... For the right club, he'll be a legend some day.

Yido!!!

Hughton will be back in a job before too long...
But probably not at Spurs.... just yet!

So we will be free to 'adopt' whover he joins as our '2nd team'!

Yido!!!
it really reminds me of that...just a sideways move, whoever they get

He may not be an elite manager, he would however get that shower promoted.

Minor heroics for Leeds/Villa/(other stumbling big club) would be just the ticket and most gratifying to see....

Yid or not... One of the good guys and he's been treated like dirt again.

You have to be honest and say that Brighton have been pretty awful to watch at times.

But, with their playing resources, what choice did they have? They haven’t brought in players like Wolves. They had to grind out points at the business end of the season and CH did that.

The second season up can often be harder than the first. Teams have been found out to some degree. But to stay up for two seasons give them a huge financial base and benefit to push on from.

I hope CH goes on to a club where they back him more with better players - and one where finally he gets some long term reward for achieving promotion from a very competitive division.
