ENIC COCKROACHES OUT
A win would be nice. Idk if we got any chance to catch Liverpool now, ofc anything can happen but the cunts are very consistent.

Another game coming thick and fast (we also play Tranmere THREE days after this too).

Not really looking forward to this. Still proper pissed off from the Wolves result. Cardiff are relatively okay at home for an average team and will put 11 men behind the ball, which has shown to stifle us this season. When you factor in how tired our players looked today, that's a recipe for disaster.

Lloris
KWP - Alderweireld - Sanchez - Rose
Eriksen - Skipp - Dele
Son - Kane - Lucas
Give Sissoko and Winks a rest ffs - they've played far too much football recently. We will have 60%+ possession. Get Rose and KWP wide. Get Eriksen controlling midfield, Skipp there for a bit of defensive protection for when they aim to counter, give Dele a few more minutes (rest him against Tranmere).

Sneaky 0-1 win.

Was surprised to see they beat Leicester after their impressive wins over City and the Chavs. Pretty ok home form recently too I believe.

Quality should tell though.

For us to catch Liverpool they need to lose some important players. Lack of injuries are helping them this season, hope they face Sérgio Ramos again in the UCL.

They will sit back and make it difficult. We should still win it - too much quality. Let's bury today's disappointment with a solid, professional performance.

Not the right time to drop Hugo either IMHO.

Very, very unlikely we catch 'Pool now. Best we can do is consolidate top three.

If Liverpool keep up their form so far, then mathematically it is impossible for us to catch them even if we win every match. We're in a top four race where we're heavily favoured, with a ~2% chance of the title if they massively fuck it up and we do very well. But we need three points here to stay in such a strong position to get top 4. COYS.

It's going to be really tough, it was a slog at Wembley and this will be even worse with our injuries and fatigue. So many players were terrible today it's difficult to know how many will be in decent condition just 2 days from now. Eriksen played his worst ever match but there is nobody who can replace him with Lamela injured, so he will probably have to start.

The absence of Dier, Dembele and Lamela is starting to hurt us now. We've done really well without them recently but while City and Liverpool are rotating in midfield we are grinding our few fit players into dust, Poch has to be brave with his selections. We may need to change to a back 3 for now just to allow us to rotate in the midfield.
