On the subject of fans who don't go regularly being labelled plastic...yes of course there are many who genuinely can't afford to go (look at Tottenham itself, loads of yids but not that many from there in the ground) but when some people say they can't afford to go they really mean that they choose to spend the money on other things which could be labelled as 'entertainment'. I think the hardcore do deserve some credit, yes some happen to be fairly rich, but others make sacrifices to go to as many games.
Not saying others should be labelled as plastic. But not all the die-hards are filthy rich.
Totally agree though about the importance of pricing at the new stadium, and the link to atmosphere.
