Scaloni has now confirmed what the Argentina XI will be for Tuesday's second friendly against Mexico will be:

Rulli; Mercado, Funes Mori, Kannemann, Acuña; Ascacibar, Meza, Lamela, Pereyra, De Paul; Icardi

Foyth gets a rest but Lamela starts.

So Argentina are playing Mexico twice in the same international break, both friendlies?

Yep. Most of the top sides are unavailable because of the Nations League (and certainly won't travel to South America), Brazil are globetrotting, the likes of Colombia decided they'd be better off just not playing (not arranging friendlies artificially boosts your world ranking), so it'll have been pretty difficult for them to find decent opponents.

Thought he was great when he came on.

He just knows what it takes to be loved by the fans of this wonderful club. He can be frustrating but that's because he's ALWAYS looking to play that high risk pass that 9 times out of 10 he can complete. Always great to have a fit Lamela back.

He’s a guy that doesn’t shy away from the big moments or the big games. Need more like him.

Loves it doesn’t he, his latest Instagram post contains him having that run in with their keeper after that turn and THREE separate pictures in sequence of him overpowering Alonso!
