I don't understand why Eriksen played any better than Sissoko today?

The truth is Eriksen isn’t playing badly. Poch’s tactics are making it impossible to perform. Eriksen is giving it his all.

How can SOFT SLOW Eriksen perform next to SOFT SLOW Winks and SOFT SLOW Alli and SLOW SLOW Dier behind him and SLOW Davis or SLOW Kane in the mix? On the second largest pitch in the Prem? In the fastest league in the world? How can Poch not see that pace is an issue subbing on Llorente etc?

And even when Poch introduces the pace of Rose/Aurier today he STILL messes up the spine with SLOW Kane/Eriksen/Dier against who? A Team WORLD FAMOUS FOR BREAKING AT SPEED.

Who has pace and power? Sissoko. What does he do? Changes his position every game. Right. Center. Left. He played all of those positions today. Sissoko can do one thing. Bomb down the right as a winger. Why confuse him?

When are partnerships going to gel? I feel terrible for our players.

At least Lamela was played with pace and power around him like I wanted. But it was way too late. And it was not by design because that team selection/subs were pure chaos. It was blind luck that Lamela had the pace of Son/Aurier/Rose and the power of Kane around him making for a better platform for his confidence.

What got us on the front foot wasn’t just the right mix for Lamela though. It’s obvious IMO what the catalysts were regarding us getting better when Lamela came on:

1: Eriksen/Winks were not on to compound Lamelas softness/pace issues & Dembele was not on to compound Lamelas lack of pace. The general pace of Rose/Aurier/Son/Sanchez helped Lamela along with the strength of Kane.

2: Poch has us fitter than any other team. We always finish strong in the Prem.

Poch has great qualities. Great judge of character, great team determination and amazing fitness. But god damn...those tactics. Those bloody staring 11’s, corners, set pieces, throwins, bunching slow midfielders, bunching soft players, crossing etc etc. Everything coachable on the pitch is utterly diabolical. How slow is our buildup? Are our coaching staff made up of dour defenders? We seriously need a number two for Poch who has some intelligence/guile. Hard work and chest thumping can only get you so far...

Physics is key. Poch can’t juggle competitions. If Poch keeps playing his combo of Eriksen/Lamela/Winks/Dembele/Kane/Dier/Llorente etc at Wembley or on large away pitches? With Lev’s history?

Fucking hell he's back. Talking absolute shit as usual.

Least surprising rant of the season goes to..

He was shit down the right flank so you don't know shit. If you played some Football Manager it doesn't make you a better manager than Pochettino.

I'm quickly catching on as to why you are a considered a twat of legendary proportions round these parts.

:dembelefingers:

The one good thing about today's game - Erik's return. Whether you rate him or not, you should be pleased to see him back from what must have been a horrible time in his life. If nothing else, he will add some 'oomph' to the team, which we have been lacking recently.

We remember only too well the last time we were playing like this, was the end of the Leicester season, and he was the only one still fighting

I hope others step up like he did then and help turn the form around, he will only be a positive out there

Amen.
I still remember that Newcastle game where he was doing everything to drag us back into the game until that cheating cunt dived for a penalty to put it out of sight. Can’t quite remember the useless fuckers name....
