*sigh* I'm really tired of the Lamela bashing going around. There's no doubt that when fit he is one of the most gifted and dangerous players in the league let alone our squad (his eye for a great pass forward is one of the best in football I think). And it is also quite ridiculous to suppose he is purposely staying out because he doesn't want to play, be sure that if that was the case Poch would not have backed him.

So all things considered you can stop with this stupid crusade, I fully hope that when he returns next season all those cunting him off now will praise his contribution to our play and acknowledge their autocuntness.

Here's another thing that strips my gears. When people say "He has mental health issues" like they have some fucking insight into human psychology, like they understand, when you know full well they're the sort of cunts who will happily spin their index finger around their temple and go "wibble wibble" when discussing the matter down the pub with the rest of their psychiatrist mates

Yet more confirmation it's a fake injury. I don't know how anyone can still deny this. The order of events are pretty clear:

1) Poor form, dropped from league team.
2) Last played Oct 25th in EFL cup - the only senior attacking player in the squad - a sign how much his stock had fallen.
3) Feeling insecure about his position at club, he goes to the press on Oct 27th, stating his desire for a new contract.
4) Was told no new contract would be offered at this time.
5) This triggered an attack of his underlying anxiety disorder, which caused the somatization pain in his hip to begin.
6) Previously at Roma and earlier in his career here, this somatization pain has been treated like a real illness but this time Poch has called him out and we've ended up paying out over a million in wages to a player with a fake injury.

There's clearly no way back for him. I wouldn't be surprised if Poch says in his next press conference that Lamela's been told to find a new club.

You're very possibly the biggest moron to ever post on this forum. And I include Ole Gibbsy in that.

Perhaps he is depressed because his dick is only about an inch shorter than an elephant trunk and that is the cause for his hip pain? Maybe he's struggling to come to terms with the fact he will need to have a penis reduction.

The fact you genuinely think he is mentally weak is laughable though. A mentally weak player would have left after that 1st terrible season. Not gotten his head down and worked like a fucking demon.

It's just the way of the world

The sour old cunts at TheLane need someone to slag off when they're drinking their beer they ran in to purchase five minutes before half time.

Current schedule is Lamela>Son>Janssen

It makes perfect sense.

Also, I ran into Jimmy Hoffa when I was out walking the dog last night.

No mention of his brother being in a serious accident? Or to a lesser extent to his beloved dog also dying? Lamela is such a millennial snowflake :lamelashock:

This saga is so fucking weird. What the hell is actually going on!?

If it's true that scans have shown there to be no issue with his hip then does that mean he's been claiming to be injured when he isn't?

Something very fucked up going in there and frustratingly I doubt we'll ever get the actual truth.
Nothing is weird about it. Trust me if he has had nerve damage (during/following his back fracture) then having what feels like muscular strains and pulls without there actually being a pull or tear to the muscle happens. Just like a pull or tear you are unable to walk, put weight through it or have full range of movement, yet the reality is there is no muscle damage, no damage means it doesn't show up on a scan. I know this because this is what I've experienced first hand for the past twenty years. I also have soft tissue hip issues that not a single specialist has been able to properly diagnose, most likely cause is a damaged sciatic nerve which runs through the small muscles and ligaments in the hip.

So, because an injury doesn't show on a scan doesn't mean there isn't an injury. Unless of cause I have the same mental disease as Lamela that invents pain and symptoms of soft tissue complaints.

I'm not saying this is what is the issue with him, anyone that claims to know is a liar. I'm just stating a few facts about the possibilities of the problems that can be experienced. If he does have nerve damage then I doubt the club will not disclose this as he is likely to be stuck with it for the rest of his life, not good for re-sale values.

OK, I've given my opinion about Lamela and I'll say no more till something concrete comes out. To be clear, I actually do like him a lot as a character. Never gives less than 100%. But I do believe he may have some anxiety related medical condition. I'm not bashing him by saying this. It's just a theory to try and make sense of the information that's available. People have such conditions outside of football so why wouldn't they also exist inside the game?

As much as i hate giving traffic to these hate fueled, racist, misogynistic, fear mongering, shit peddling cunts...

Spurs' Erik Lamela likely to miss the rest of the season | Daily Mail Online

"It is unclear whether Lamela will even be back before the season ends"
"Ahead of the summer, it is not known whether the Argentine will stay or go."
"It remains to be seen whether Tottenham would stand in his way if he wanted to leave."

Thanks for clearing that up then Kieran Gill.

At the start of the season I did honestly think he was going to shift on a gear and be an even bigger player for us. Such a shame the way this season has worked out for him. I don't know the ins and out of it anymore than anyone else on here, just hoping he gets back fit and hungry and we see him back playing for us again.
