That was a great 15 mins after HT.

Phil Beal? Can't recognise him anywhere and too early surely? Cliff Jones, John White, ?, ?, Terry Dyson.
  3. Performance Top 4 or Woolwich winning the league

You're obviously not old enough to see our team being relegated.

That's not the old Lane, just one of many iterations.
  5. Stadium New Stadium

Yes, you can take beer to your seat. Frankly it's a real pain in the rear as your constantly having to stand up to allow people out/in.
  6. Match Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday 10th March

Not single mention of the red card on match of the day tonight!
  7. Photo Retro Spurs photos

Remember that incident well from my view point in the clock end.
  8. Club Come here to laugh at the Fascist, Failing Chavs

Well 8 FA cup semi's on the trot isn't great!
  9. Player Glenn Hoddle

That would have been Clive Allan. He scored in all 3 games, but missed a few sitters, Should have been well over 50 goals that season.
  10. Player Glenn Hoddle

There's no tv coverage of that game. Still think it's the greatest goal of his (viewed from the shelf), but not a volley, more like the Watford chip but from a much more acute angle (ie close to the goal line). Some thought it a fluke, but this was God we're talking about.

Good chance I'm in that photo. View wasn't as good as the shelf, but looking at a full shelf from there was fantastic.
  12. Video Spurs Videos

What a great night that was!
  13. Player Glenn Hoddle

His debut. Game should have been played night before but was fogged off. Went both nights. Got dropped for next game!
  14. Player Glenn Hoddle

That was an interesting day on and off the pitch! The build up to that goal and Mickey H's was brilliant.
  15. Player Glenn Hoddle

Was referring to games I attended and couldn't make that game, but another of his greats.
  16. Player Glenn Hoddle

Fav Hod goals seen live (not in order): Forest volley Man U volley Oxford dribble Wimbledon FA cup qtr final freekick screamer Anfield 30yd screamer Bolton FA cup 3rd round chip from near corner flag (not filmed, a shame as probably his best ever) Numerous free kicks, plus many more. Greatest...

Also tried getting to Luton on the Sat but when getting to Mill Hill Bdy found out it had been snowed (I think) off. Couldn't go on the Wed due to being a school night! Still rate Hod's goal v Bolton as his greatest. I recall going to Goons v Wolves (my dad was a Goon so we used to attend games...
  18. Photo Retro Spurs photos

There's many a Spur used those stairs to get into the North Bank!
  19. Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

No he's not. Greaves predates my time but just compare his goals/games, which says most about goal scoring records imo. Kane is obviously a better goal scorer (the best I've seen) than Hod, and his passing compares with the best around at the moment (KDB). However, he's not on Hod's level, who...
