  1. Player Richarlison

    Rather like Carragher.
  2. Match Tottenham Hotspur Vs Wolverhampton Yam Yam Wanderers. (Sat 17th Feb 15:00)

All footballers misplace passes. However knocking a pass over a colleagues head for a throw is almost inexcusable. It killed the attack and gave the initiative to Wolves. The difference is that with Porro it's "what's going to happen now" .With Emerson it's "when will he screw up" I'm not...
  3. Match Tottenham Hotspur Vs Wolverhampton Yam Yam Wanderers. (Sat 17th Feb 15:00)

How about the time he tried a crossfield pass and it sailed over our player for a throw? He did some of his defensive duties well but I'd expect that from a PL defender. Otherwise nothing going forward. Certainly nothing like Porro gives us. I thought we'd plumbed the depths with Aurier but...
  4. Match Tottenham Hotspur Vs Wolverhampton Yam Yam Wanderers. (Sat 17th Feb 15:00)

You take out Porro and Udogie and replace them with Davies (in fairness was OK) and Emerson(shocking) and we become clueless, endlessly cycling the ball across the back/midfield Oher than the usual excellent supects (VdV and Vicario) almost the rest of the team were invisible and/or dreadful...
  5. Match Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton (H) | Saturday 10th February @ 15:00

Of course you mean 2/6 (or half a dollar when the exchange rate was 4 to the pound). ... Oh for days of Empire and home games against Preston North End! Brighton languished in Division 4 and was famous for teddy boys and rock. Let's stuff them Saturday.
  6. Match Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton (H) | Saturday 10th February @ 15:00

... and Black Jacks (probably called Grey Jacks these days) or Fruit Salad. 4 for 1d. Or if you were really flush, 4d for a frozen Jubbly. How our teeth survived I'll never know!
  7. Player Destiny Udogie

Shocker of a back pass but I reckon he lost Toney in the background. Forget it. He knows what he did. On to Everton. Brentford - the new West Brom.
  8. Match Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford (H) | Wednesday 31st January @ 19:30

Yep. Complete with PA system turned up to 11 to drown the boos and a rather embarrassing awards ceremony and laps of 'honour'. Cringe-y. Put this right on Wednesday. Same starting lineup as City.
  9. Player Cristian Romero

Romero dodged a bullet yesterday. Shocking challenge that warranted a red. Look at his reaction post-tackle. Could you imagine the scenes on here if Dunk, Maguire or some other donkey inflicted that challenge on Sarr or Son. Get a grip. It was a red and he got away with it. About time we got...
  10. Player Rodrigo Bentancur

Enough of the non entity Cash. Any news on the injury? Has he had a scan yet?
  11. Match Spurs v Villa Sunday 26 Nov 2pm

Neither I think had started this season. Both contributed significantly to our press until they both ran out of steam. Lo Celso scored. Gill constantly provided a threat down the left and covered well for Udogie when he ended up out of position. Should have scored. Who do you reckon had better...
  12. Match Spurs v Villa Sunday 26 Nov 2pm

We're you watching the same game? Arguabley Gil and Lo Celso were our best players?
  13. Match Wolves (A) - Saturday 11th November 12:30pm KO

Just what we need when four first choice players are out - a half decent game. Same applies to Dier, Emerson and Hojbjerg.
  14. Match Wolves (A) - Saturday 11th November 12:30pm KO

Nope. High-, low-, intermediate or intergalactic block, the three of them plus Hojbjerg should be put out to grass. The fact that Davies is touted as our MoM says a lot.
  15. Match Wolves (A) - Saturday 11th November 12:30pm KO

Yep, says it all. A player so limited he would struggle to get into most PL squads.
  16. Match Wolves (A) - Saturday 11th November 12:30pm KO

Just shows the limitations (and mentality) of Dier, Davies, Hojbjerg, and Emerson. Play the ball backwards or sideways as a first thought plus a woeful lack of pace. Shocking.
  17. Player James Maddison

Bentancur needs to step up as a Maddison replacement. 1-3 months out is a bit vague and the international break may come to our assistance for once. VDV is the real problem with no real quality replacement. Interesting to see who plays there tomorrow.
  18. Match Spurs Vs Liverpool - Saturday 30th 17:30

I've said it for ages. GPS chip in the heel of the players' boots and another in the ball. Automate everything for an instant result.
  19. Player Richarlison

First post-Kane post. It's early days, but, with (it appears) a fully functioning midfield (with Bentancur waiting in the wings) as opposed to the Hojbgerg/Skipp nonsense, we need someone to deliver 20+ goals to have any aspirations for top 6. Richarlison has never achieved anywhere like it...
