Full week to next match and therefore play fittest strongest team. Assume replays for this round as I heard not 5th round. Therefore if 0-0 we get advantage and Southampton will push up in last 10 mins and give us opportunity to counter attack. Maybe should leave Moura on bench so he is fresh to run at them for last 30 mins.

Think 3 atb is the way to go.

Time Gedon got a full debut and as he can tackle play him alongside Ndombele - one or both might not last 90 so Erikson, Skipp and Dier available on the bench -- Dier also covering with Vertonghen defensive positions..

Lamela and Moura on the bench to vary the attack if we need - if Eriksen is off we could include Parrott on the bench. If we needed a creative CM off the bench we drop Lo Celso back into CM and bring on Moura or Lamela

Lloris
Tanganga - Sanchez - Alderweireld
Aurier, Gedson, Ndombele, Sessegnon
Lo Celso Son
Dele

Bench - Gazzaniga, Vertonghen, Dier, Skipp, Eriksen or Parrott, Lamela, Moura,

Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed the injury news for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup on Saturday, but as we know he sometimes mishears the medical staff, so quick recoveries often happy.

Definitely missing is Cedric with a knee injury and he will be joined by both Jannik Vestergaard who has tripped over a Fox and Shane Long, with of course Yan Valery whose absence vary's between an injury, a virus or just guesswork.

Ralph Hasenhüttl has confirmed.

“Cédric is out for three weeks maybe with a ligament injury in the knee, Jannik is also out because he has a concussion from an elbow he hit."

“Longy also has a swollen knee so is not able to play at the weekend. So, we have three automatic changes to the starting eleven.”

James Ward Prowse could also miss the game after picking up a hissy fit from an overpaid over egoed Crystal Palace player on Tuesday although this did not cause him to miss any games when he picked up the same issue a year ago.

Versergaard is rumoured to be wanted by Leicester so the 'injury' might be convenient if his head isn't with Southampton atm

You think Hugo will be benched?
Judging by José's comments after Norwich, wouldn't be surprised if Gazza is the Cup GK while Hugo is the League one, just like he did at Man United with De Gea and Romero.

I think Mourinho is going to play his 'best' team in the FA Cup games as it's possibly our best chance of a trophy.

This will be a tough game and would expect a strong team for this game, realistic chance of a trophy in this competition.
Still a bit surprised it’s not live on TV in the UK when you look at some of the other games being shown.

FA Cup time, let's go into it playing with no league pressure knowing that Southampton will probably make a few changes themselves:

[FORMATION=4321,Lloris,Aurier,Alderweireld,Sanchez,Sessegnon,Lo Celso,Gedson,Ndombele,Lucas,Dele,Son][/FORMATION]

I think we have to give this a go.

Still need a DM but that looks a good footballing side, lumping it is a waste and wouldn’t work anyway imho.
