I’m not so sure he doesn’t have instinct of a midfielder. B
Can he dribble past players playing in the 10? I’ve not seen any great passing from him in that role either.
I've been led to believe he has what it takes as I see discussions on it every week...or at least he will perform better there. Many have suggested his stats are better centrally...I'd say they'd be hard-pressed not to be considering how ineffectual he's been on the wing. But for better or worse he's ours for the next 4 seasons or so so we gotta find a place for him.

Bit contradictory mate, Brennan is worth more starting the game than ending it. Almost scored, assisted in one, and this is what we need from minute one not near to the end of the game.

Kulu was again disappointed, cheap pass led to their opener and in truth did fuck all.

Even Ange must see this.

But he seems to often make a better impact when coming on as a sub than when starting games, which is the point I was making. I'm not really sure what part of my post could be seen as contradictory. Brennan hasn't always looked particularly good when he has started games.

Did the goal line technology cock up today?

I saw an over head on Astra and there was clear grass between the ball and the goal line? I know all about the curvature making the ball look over the line when it's not, but this was a shot, directly above, with grass between the ball and the line?
