Can he play left back?
Played LB at youth level for club and country but mainly played as an attacking LWB in a back 3/5 for the last 2 seasons at Udinese
He's an impressive kid speaks well hope he sorts the defensive side of his game out. He has the attributes and more of them than Danny Rose had lets hope the mentality is good.
Seems a well balancd kid. I have such high hopes for our youngstets
A little observation from Ally Gold today:
Destiny Udogie has skill, strength and pace in abundance and one moment in particular showcased all of those abilities in one go during the practice match.
Ben Davies got out of a tricky situation with Dejan Kulusevski pressing him by turning and passing it to the young Italian full-back.
Pedro Porro came racing in down the flank to try to steal the ball off Udogie, only for the 20-year-old to drag the ball inside with his left foot, sending the Spaniard flying past him, before racing up the pitch at speed himself with great close control.

One preseason performance doesnt equal a starter. He's got to show some consistency. I do think Ange won't have an issue playing younger guys though.
Well he actually played football last season unlike reggie and looked a lot better today so I don’t see why he should be behind him when the season starts
I don't think Reggie will be here. he's probably competing with Ben Davies.

The question of defensive laziness still remains, but he did very well to settle the nerves about the rest of his game. Great technique and athleticism.
