You can never question Kane's goal scoring record, or why he is on penalties his record is phenomenal.
What you can question is whether he is truly world class, he is going to retire probably with no big trophies to his name. He has spent his whole career with us when lets be brutally honest he should have been somewhere else winning trophies. And there is a definite question mark surrounding him in the biggest games. He has gone missing in so many of our Cup finals/semi's. See the Champions league. Perhaps he shouldn't have been rushed back for that one but the point stands.
Today he had a decent game, but he has choked at the vital moment.

I’d take him over Ronaldo any day. Some people sell out their morals for winning/superiority. It’s never worth it.
The problem is both Spurs and England are ok but that’s it. Kane is the one to be relied upon, he is Benzema or Lewondoski level but he is not Messi level. If Kane played for France and Bayern Munich he’d have tons of trophies.
Players winning trophies on their own is rare, Maradona for Argentina, Gerrard for Liverpool with the CL. England are simply too reliant on Kane to score or create and with Foden, Maddison etc they shouldn’t be.

England were losing 2-1 to Cameroon. Scored his first penalty in the 83rd minute to bring it to extra time and then the winning penalty in extra time. Nearly a carbon copy of what Kane faced tonight. Trailing 2-1 and that penalty miss was around the 80th minute.
I seem to remember us standing and applauding Saka on that first derby game after the final. Definitely deserves another round as he was brilliant today.

That's ok when you've already won a league title. Foden literally popped up in his first season and won 2 trophies. He's not turned up in the semi finals and finals he's played for us though either I think he's had more chances in finals and semi's here than what shearer did for Newcastle.
I see the melts are back before Spurs have even resumed the season, Harry is having a great season for Spurs and was one of England’s best players at the tournament ..
