If the 'much improved' full backs and midfield were playing in the exact same system, it'd made sweet fuck all difference. Our patterns aren't working, regardless of personnel. Chelsea know what’s coming and are setup perfectly to stop them.

It’s both. Cucurella & RLC have eaten up our wing backs 1on1 in wide areas. That’s not a system problem.

And the midfield are outnumbered and need help, but it sure would be nice if one of them had some press resistance & an ability to perform in difficult situations.
