Juve had two chances and scored. Other then that a perfect game. Agree, why open up. Have you seen us defensively lately. Heroic defending so far but also they are cutting through us quite easily. Harry still not fit. Not sure he should play the whole game...
Exactly. I am not saying we should push desperately to score. We just need to play more relaxed and get control of the ball.

Dortmund looked very broken from the 40th minute when they started getting tired and time ticking down on them. If we can close out the first 15 after HT it will be very important and impressive.

Incredible first half...and also nerve wrecking
I don’t know if Kane is overconfident on the ball now or just blind to see his teammates. Eriksen is shambolic again but he seems to be trying, Winks not his best, Jan with his super saves, Son our only attacker at the moment, and Hugo again rescuing Tottenham again.

We were absolutely excellent.

Some people seem to equate playing tippy tappy football as being the definition of good football. No. Putting in a defensive masterclass in the biggest cup competition in world football to see yourselves through to the quarter final is equally as fucking good.

Juve put in a performance like this and their lauded.
And some people think that there are only two kinds of football: 'tippy tappy' and Pulis-ball. Which is absolute nonsense. We could still put two passes together and show some attacking thrust whilst also getting back in shape and defending well when needed, like plenty of teams do, Juve being chief amongst them.

Whaaaat?

HUGO PULLED 3 FANTASTIC SAVES. If one or two went in who knows.

15-1 in shots. Cmon people. We were better the last 10 minutes tbf. But saying we were excellent is just wrong
Sometimes being excellent means defending well. I see your point, but just because we've been on the back foot it doesn't mean it was a bad half for us.

We literally had the best chance of the game.
