Son, more value to the team than Eriksen

Arguable ?
At the moment. Yes.

If anything this season proves that we can make do without Eriksen given his injury lay off in the fall and his current lack of form. Even if our game doesn't become as fluid. And now we're even starting to work around that with Winks stepping it up.

But when Eriksen is on form he is immense

He’s pretty much carrying us at the moment.

What’s incredible is that he’s absolutely spent after playing 3 tournaments around the season and his form hasn’t dipped.

He has become that consistent player that we all wanted, his inconsistencies that used to drive us mad is nowhere to be seen so far, touch wood. And he’s had plenty of excuses to have an off game after playing so much.

Saw this on Guardian and thought it’s quite good!

By a poster called marksmad.

Oh Sonny boy
The goals the goals are coming
to Wembley
And soon to white Hart Lane
We've got no kane
we've got no Ali
But goals will come
Cause we've got Son
Oh Sonny boy.

To the tune of Danny Boy

Top 7 EPL players goals/assist/GPM

Salah: 16 Goals 7 Assist in 24 matches. Goals per minute: 127
Aubameyang: 15 Goals 4 in 24 matches. Goals per minute: 128
Aguero: 11 Goals 6 Assist in 20 matches. Goals per minute: 132
Kane: 14 Goals 4 Assist in 22 matches. Goals per minute: 135
Hazard: 12 Goals 10 Assist in 24 matches. Goals per minute: 161
Sterling: 10 Goals 7 Assist in 23 Matches. Goals per minute: 175

He should be considered world class. Not to mention he is getting better and better every season.

He's on his highest level he's been at since he joined us, in my opinion.

His goals and assists to game ratio this season is brilliant. Such a shame his season has been messed up with Asian Games and Asian Cups etc. - so glad he gets his 8 days rest from now until our next game. I think he strikes absolute fear into opponents when they see him running at them with his pace. The fact he's very two footed helps too as they don't really know where to send him.

10 goals and 5 assists in 14 starts in the Premier League this season.
1 goal and 2 assists in 1 start in the FA Cup.
3 goals in 3 starts in the League Cup.

These are freak numbers from someone about to hit their peak. This is someone who's barely had any rest.

Only disappointing numbers are his Champions League returns with 5 starts and just 1 assist but Dortmund are coming up and we all know Son loves playing against them.
