What evidence do we have of this?

He hasn't been on twitter in over a year and has 3 instagram posts.
Yes, I had a quick look back on this thread. Looks like I'm completely correct.

You need to understand, I want good players to come through at Spurs. I'm a lifelong supporter. But I do not want our club to be throwing good money after bad on a person who does not have the emotional maturity to not behave like a mini Floyd Mayweather.
He hasn't even kicked a ball in anger for us, but has brought our club into disrepute with his behaviour on previous loan spells.

Nah, I remember that picture. Where everyone was giving him agg for a messy footwell and shit.

I don't see where this entourage thing has come from?

I remember at the time there was a discussion about his absence on social media.

I don't think that was the footwell one. I think he was just the usual blinged up in central London, pouting in some Moncler.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Unless he can get stronger, stay on his feet, and keep up a better more mature attitude, he's got no future for us.

The talent he has is outrageous but I genuinely think Poch is done with him. He just comes across as too big of a twat. The guy has a link in his own Insta bio to a YouTube video of his "skills at Excelsior" ffs...

Is it actually though?
yeah mate, he can do trickz and dribblez yo. And we all know that football players only need ball technique because in the course of their career they will need to hold the ball on their nose on a weekly basis.

Someone needs to do a research on our supporters' obsession with every kid who can dribble. modern football requires athleticism and passing vision, that's why we hardly see house elves like Edwards playing on the wing like in the 70's

To be fair, it says "teenager" - but going by WhoScored, he's also made more dribbles than ANYONE in the Eredivisie.

Comparison within the rest of the Dutch league:

Marcus Edwards - 2.9
Steven Bergwijn - 2.8
Oussama Idrissi - 2.5
Hakim Ziyech - 2.5
Dan Crowley - 2.5

In fact, only 6 players in Europe have made more dribbles per game than him.

Allan Saint-Maximin - 4.2
Neymar - 4
Hatem Ben Arfa - 3.7
Lionel Messi - 3.6
Marcus Thuram - 3.4
Sofiane Boufal - 3.1

Needs to start adding some goals and assists to his game though. It's the fucking Dutch League. Excelsior are up against Ajax at the weekend so will look out for that and see how he does against the best opponents he'd ever have faced in a competitive mens game.

What an absolutely ridiculous dribbler he is.

He reminds me of a kid playing against kids who is better than the rest. But like a kid he makes bad choices, shooting instead of passing and he is rubbish at shooting. Fix that and he might have a future.

So are you insinuating he isn't talented at all? :vertna:

I watched the 4½ minutes so others won't have to.

Forget "outrageous talent", this showing is beyond ordinary

just goes to show how misleading player show-reels can be. like the one posted, it's more accurate watching these 'game touches' edits. still, he's 19 so who knows if he ticks box a or b come the future. here's hoping it's box a.

Okay this is reminding me of when BAE said he watched games undercover at The Lane and joked he thought he was sitting next to Maradonna and Messi based on the criticism the players were getting.
