Defensively he’s having a bad time. He’s still a better option than Aurier who’s been shit at both ends of the pitch.

KWP is potentially worth giving a shot (ahead of Aurier certainly) but I’m not convinced he’s as good as Mr Windy Coys has built him up to be.

A lot of the players tired from the World Cup have been injured and therefore had an enforced rest.
Trippier along with Kane and Alderweireld have not. Trippier certainly is making more mistakes this season than last and perhaps should be rested more over the next few weeks.

Not a fan of playing people out of position, but surely KWP at RB with Trippier at LB (I think he's played there before)? Would allow us to dispense with Davies who offers little (other than experience).

Not against PSV though. Will have to go with Davies and Trippier. When will Rose be available again?

A balanced post and correct.

He needs to concentrate and stop trying to overplay.

Anyone else think he has got too arrogant. Trying that nutmeg was ridiculous but so is the pointing fingers at others.

His crossing and eye for a pass is fine and can be extremely good on a good day, but he's not David Beckham. It's like he bought into his own hype and thinks that he is.

Ideally we only use him as a wing-back, in a back-four he is too much of a liability.
