Mario Lemina

"A strong, hard-working, and dynamic right-footed midfielder, with good technique and solid distribution, Lemina is a box-to-box player who is usually deployed in the centre, due to his ability to start attacking plays after winning back possession. Due to his tactical versatility, he is capable of playing in several positions, and has been deployed as a winger, as a full-back, or as a wing-back, on the right flank; during his time with Marseille, he also played as centre-back in a three-man defence on occasion, during the 2014–15 season, under manager Marcelo Bielsa.[3][16][17][18] Despite his talent, he has also earned a reputation for having a temper and for lacking concentration at times.[3]"

He'll fit right in...

As soon as I saw Lemina against Palace I knew he'd be a great Dembele replacement. Always wonder how these talented players would fair under Poch.

He's at the right age. Got a good footballing physique. Strong on the ball. Exciting.

Probably bollocks though

His brother swan-song is more promising & glides around well. & He performs well in finals.

Classic.
From swap deal to contract within half and hour

Think it's pretty obvious from everyone to see that Poch has always rated Erik. The argument that he hasn't been given a new contract under him was pointless though as he was always on good money. We weren't going to improve his deal, so it made sense to wait until the last year or two of it to extend it while keeping him on the same money or adding a little bit extra if other players matched his wage or eclipsed it.

Or you could just claim we didn't offer him a contract because "he's not good enough for us" which seems to be the attitude of a few.
