I'm never eating Belgian chocolate again. Screw them, it's Cadbury's all the way.
Can't argue with that. That's the difference between us and an efficient competition team.. we need 25 opportunities to score twice, they get 2 chances and score twice. Yes, you can say they didn't deserve to get through.. but in the end it's the goal that counts
I'm pissed right now, but that's what I'll be telling myself. That's 6 unnecessary games avoided
Yeah. Other than conceding twice and missing about a dozen easy chances, the players did just fine against a starting eleven that probably cost less than Lamela. Look forward to more performances like this in the future.I agree. Other than some poor finishing, we haven't played badly here tonight. I think our second half effort, with 10 men, was actually quite inspiring to watch. Things haven't gone our way, but I wont call it Spursy either. These things just happen. We lost this one in the first leg, IMO.
Meanwhile Modric and Bale have won the champs league twice in a row. You can't lose players of that quality...Kane is worrying, he doesn't seem able to perform outside of the PL, neither in Europe for Spurs nor for England. We've been piss-poor in Europe since beating Milan six years ago and it fucking stinks
I genuinely don't think we were terrible against their packed defence!Tottenham players need to take a look at themselves after tonight.
You can't win cups when you play like losers. Too many players with their heads down. Dier awful, Kane invisible, Dele stupid.
Fair play to Walker, Son and Wanyama.
Not going through to a mid table Belgium team is unacceptable
Look, disappointing result but the goal at the start of the season was Top 4. Poch will get us Champions League football again & hopefully Levy backs him this time around with the World Class player & depth this team desperately needs.
Nutshell
