Read some quotes from the players this morning (Okasaki?) saying that Ranieri this season will completely change the tactics 2 hours before the games and not give any briefing on what they're supposed to be doing.
Leonardo Ulloa on strike is an odd one as well. It must sour the atmosphere in the club.

He's not on strike, he's just fed up that he's being kept but not played despite promises to the contrary.

What if Ulloa = Premiership Title

Fuck em and this great for football narrative everyone wanking over last year.

The fact of the matter was, everyone else hates us for the fact we are legitimately strong by way of our own means. I believe it is sheer envy of what we have achieved over years of hard work and patience instead of a quick fix. Other top teams cannot stand hearing about our upward trajectory.

It gives me a near permanent semi that they all thought that would be our only shot at winning a title and we'd fall off. Those Leicester pricks thought that was it, they'd made it and mocked us. I will never forget the cuntiness.

We will have the last laugh
Funnily enough - while we were the bad guys last year, if we were to get closer to Chelsea and be the last team to challenge them, the neutral fan would probably want Spurs to come out on top.

Fickle cunts.

Last year teams saw Huth and Morgan at the back and attacked which meant they got destroyed on the counter attack by Kante, Mahrez and Vardy who were full of confidence (and maybe some juice), also you could hold people in the box at set pieces which Leicester did as well as anyone, momentum and winning games is an underestimated factor and can pull you through a tough spot and then when teams had worked all this out Leicester were top of the league and many managers in public said they wanted them to win it all so imagine what they said to their players.

This year nobody cares about their fairy tale and it's an easy three points.

You mean 'Tinkerman' is back

You mean 'Tinkerman' is back

:harryhmm:

The Guardian predicted it before he got started (14 July 2015):

Claudio Ranieri: the anti-Pearson … and the wrong man for Leicester City? | Marcus Christenson

(referring to Greece sacking)

And then there was the tinkering. Eleven years after being given the nickname “The Tinkerman” for his constant chopping and changing while in charge of Chelsea, the thing that drove most Greeks to despair was the, well, constant chopping and changing.

Under Rehhagel and Santos, the Greeks knew what they were getting. Often 4-4-2, sometimes 4-3-3, on occasions 5-3-2, but always a tactically sound performance with the players aware of what they were doing. Under Ranieri they looked confused.

Apart from the demoralising defeat against the Faroes, there was particular consternation over the 4-2-4 formation chosen for the home defeat against Northern Ireland. The two holding midfielders (well, the only midfielders) were Giannis Maniatis and Panagiotis Tachtsidis and they are not even known for their defensive work.

They are cheats. Media haven't made much of the fact they shouldn't really be in the prem anyway.
What gets me is this is LCFC we are talking about. Everyone agrees it was a freak season. Even them. For whatever reason.
So why the shock they are now reverting to relegation fights?
These results are not freak, they were the norm. It shouldn't be surprising.

I don't see why the just didn't get the monk in to bless them this season.
Vardy needs to stick that lucky protective cast back on because he's been shit without it.
I wonder if Duty Free gets them all a Toyota Prius if they get relegated.

Are they talking about the 'Thai Gang Bang' pre-season tour?
A club that needs to come out and say it offers 'unwavering support and togetherness' isn't supportive and together. A bit like the Captain of a plane that's cruising along at 30,000 feet with no problem to come on the radio and tell his passengers everything is fine we are not about to crash.
