Why Winning The FA Cup Would Cap Off A Great Season For Spurs

Spurs have once again received praise from various quarters after what has been another good season for the club. They have, however, once again come in for a bit of stick as they could yet finish the campaign empty handed when it comes to silverware. Spurs look to have another Top Four finish in the bag, but they could yet finally get their hands on a trophy, by winning this year’s FA Cup.

You could say that Spurs have done well in a season where they have had to play their home games at Wembley. They could yet finish as high as second in the Premier League should results go their way, but winning the FA Cup would be the real icing on the cake.

It would first of all stop the naysayers in their tracks who have criticised both the club and manager Mauricio Pochettino for their failure to win any silverware over the last few seasons. It would also help to really put Spurs on the map as a force in English football and it would also be a great boost for them as they get ready to begin their journey at their new home.

Spurs certainly have a great chance of winning the FA Cup too. They face Manchester United next, with Chelsea likely to be the team awaiting the winner in the final. Spurs will fancy their chances after beating both United and Chelsea during their current 14 game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, in which they have managed to win 11 games.
