Normally at this point of the season, we would be talking about a couple of teams in the mix to win the Premier League title. Manchester City after their record-breaking start have already sealed that achievement and now all that is left for the top teams qualifying for next season’s Champions League. There are a possible five teams that are fighting it out for qualification but in this article, I am going to make the presumption that Manchester United will not have a major run of bad results and that Arsenal are already out of the race.

Champions League Qualification Odds

You will not find any bookies offering odds on Manchester City to finnish in the top four as they have already secured that after their record breaking start. Top bookmakers bet365 have Manchester United the favorites to qualify priced at 1 / 7. Liverpool are in second priced at around 1 / 4 and it may surprise some that Spurs are ahead of Chelsea with most bookies pricing them at 4 / 6 compared with the Blues at 5 / 6. Arsenal are the outsiders to qualify and you will find them priced around 16 / 1 with most bookies. If you do fancy a punt make sure to take advantage of the bet365 deposit bonus which is available on these bets.

#1: Liverpool F.C

It was a massive game against Spurs at the weekend and a point seemed a fair result. A win for ether teams would have put them in the driving seat and now it is evenly balanced with the Reds having a slight advantage on points. Selling Coutinho and buying Virgil van Dijk was a good bit of business for Liverpool as they had to do something to solve their leaky defense and they have enough firepower to score against anyone. They do amaze against the top teams but will need to improve their record against teams they are expected to beat if they are going to stay in the top four.

#2: Chelsea F.C

Something is not right at Chelsea once again and the manager is in the firing line. Conte does not look like he wants to be at Stamford Bridge and is struggling for form. The Blues never do well after winning the EPL the following season and I can see them been the ones that miss out.

#3: Tottenham Hotspur F.C

Spurs may have done the best bit of January transfer business by signing Brazilian Lucas Moura for 25 million. This looks like a bargain when you compare it to Liverpool 75 million signing of Virgil van Dijk. If he can hit the ground running they could even catch Manchester United in second place. They will need all the players they can get if they are going to try to win the Champions League and qualify for it once again.

Who Will Miss Out?

I think that it will be Chelsea and Arsenal out of the top six teams that will miss out this season for qualifying for the Champions League. The Gunners are without their star player Sanchez after selling to Man U in January and Chelsea are lacking in confidence along with a manager that is looking to exit as fast as he can.
