The transfer window is just a few days away but clubs in the Premier League have already started to do some business. According to NetBet Sport, Liverpool announced late evening yesterday the arrival of Virgil Van Dijk. With rumours doing circles focusing more of who is likely to make the move to our temporary ‘White Hart Lane’, Wembley Stadium in January, we have compiled a list of who may be on the move away this winter.

Toby Alderweireld

One player, every Spurs fan wouldn’t want to leave is the giant Belgian international, Toby Alderweireld. Since his switch from the Vicente Calderon, Toby has been one of Spurs’ consistent performers and has earned himself a good reputation among the Spurs faithful. Last season, he was rock solid alongside compatriot Jan Vertonghen in a back four. This season before his injury, he showed how good he is as he seamlessly slotted into the back 3 alongside Vertonghen and new arrival Davinson Sanchez. However, we all know that negotiations in a contract renewal keep stalling and there is a good chance he can leave if his financial demands are not met.

Danny Rose

Another important player who can leave during the January transfer window is Danny Rose. Rose angered a number of people in the summer after his blunt interview saying he believes he is not being paid what he is worth at White Hart Lane and he would prefer if the club signs players, with a reputation. He later apologised but it seems he has not regained the full trust of manager, Poch. Against Davies, you would say Rose is a guaranteed starter but he has been left on the bench in some games so far this season. Rumours say Manchester United are still keen and a high bid may just push through the bid. More so, Manchester United have already told Luke Shaw to search for a new club and the manager, Jose Mourinho says he needs more players in January thus a departure is likely.

Kyle Walker-Peters

During the early weeks of the season, Kyle Walker-Peters was getting some cameo roles in the Premier League including a full 90-minute debut but since that time, he has been restricted to the League Cup. According to some club officials, Walker-Peters wants to go out on loan in the January transfer window as he thinks he might just get a look-in from England manager, Gareth Southgate playing regularly than on the sidelines on Spurs bench.
